Venture (Innovation Hub) is a student led organisation within the UWA Student Guild, creating opportunities for students to develop enterprise and innovation skills, build capability and grow networks. We believe this is the key to future-proofing careers, resilient to the rapidly changing economy
An exciting opportunity exists within Venture for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. The Innovation Marketing Officer works closely with the Associate Director, Innovation to bring to life student’s visions for new business ideas.
The role is being offered on a part time (22.5 days per week), fixed term contract basis for 12 months with the potential of extension of contract at the end of the initial contract period.
Duties include:
- Liaison with new students, innovation partners, industry partners, clubs, and societies
- Creation and delivery of marketing campaigns to promote Venture’s initiatives both within UWA and the external community
- Administration of all grants
- Responsible for review and maintenance of the Venture website
- Working with Associate Director and committee to create and deliver events and facilitate innovation workshops
- Preparation of internal and external newsletters
- Administration duties as required.
The successful candidate will display the following attributes:
