We advocate for animal rights, fostering compassion, and creating meaningful change. UWA People for Animal Welfare (UWA PAW) is a student-led community dedicated to creating a better world for animals.
We seek to prevent animal cruelty and animal suffering, including factory farming, wild animal suffering, invasive animal research, and exploitation, through education and advocacy.
Our Goals:
- Raising awareness of animal welfare issues
- Promoting ethical and humane treatment of animals
- Promoting progressive policy change
- Promoting plant-based food to reduce harm to animals
- Creating a compassionate student network

- Weekly socials on campus

- Excursions to animal sanctuaries
- Volunteer with rescue animals
- Volunteer at vincent kitchen
