Sanskriti- Association for Indian Culture and Student Support is an inclusive society open to all students at UWA who wish to explore the richness and diversity of India's traditional arts, crafts, classical hatha yoga, and authentic food from different regions of India. Sanskriti aims to act as a medium of cultural exchange for anyone interested in India and her people. Our focus will be on celebrating the spirit of India - Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the whole world is one family), among the UWA fraternity and beyond, through events such as traditional festivals, regional movie nights, and many more.
We are also a platform for International Indian Students to voice their needs at the university, and to assist incoming Indian students to transition smoothly into University life. We will also link the Indian students at UWA and the Consulate General of India, Perth.
