ENVIRO WEEK - Cry of The Forests Movie Screening

As a part of Enviro Week the Enviro Department will be hosting a screening of Cry of the Forests, a documentary which looks at the plight of WA’s unique forests and their value in mitigating climate change. The documentary was produced and directed by Jane Hammond in collaboration with the WA Forest Alliance (WAFA) who have kindly allowed us to bring this experience to UWA in order to educate students about WA's forests and to raise awareness of the impacts of deforestation on climate change. The 55 minute screening will be followed by a Q&A panel with the documentary's producers and some representatives from WAFA.

The screening will occur from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, March18.
