PROSH is a UWA tradition dating back to 1931, where UWA students come down to campus early in the morning dressed in crazy costumes, to sell a satirical newspaper to members of the Perth community in support of charity. This year’s theme is PROSH - The Last Bender.
PROSH - The Last Bender involves students arriving to locations from buses, including Perth CBD, Claremont Quarter, Subiaco, Fremantle and Leederville, and moving to designated points to sell the PROSH paper to the public. Students will dress up in costumes to sell papers. Marshals for every ~15 people in a team for crowd control. At 10:15am, students will gather in Forest Place for the wrap up, speeches from Guild Pres, PROSH Committee, the charities, and at 10:30am we do a procession through the CBD (map will be attached). From 11am students will make their own way back to class or wherever they want to go. Tins will need to be returned to Guild by 4pm
