Rottnest

UWA Student Guild International Students Department would like to organise a trip to Rottnest Island on 14th of March as part of our social event. 

Unimentor has also agreed to work with ISD for this event where they will send 10 uni mentors to accompany and support our event.  ISD will provide 7 commitee members (2 of which are first aid certified) to run the event.

There will be a total of 80 attendees (63 international students, 10 uni mentors and 7 ISD committee members)

Students will be asked to gather at UWA Tennis court at 8.00am for attendance taking and registration.  After which buses will depart UWA at 8.30am to take them to Fremantle Shed B where they will then take the 9.30am ferry to Rottnest.

Once we have arrived at Rottnest Island, ISD will brief the students what time they should be back at the meeting place for attendance before we board the ferry back to Fremantle. Students will be allowed to go around the island on their own, however, ISD members, along with uni mentors, will split into groups to take the students around the island for students who wish to follow us, as well as for students who have joined this event on their own.

We will be taking the 5.30pm ferry back.  Once back at Freo, buses will take the students back to UWA Tennis Court where they will then be dismissed.
