The Pathways of a Design Degree

A 1 hour session including talks by a variety of design professionals to explore what they believe makes a good designer and how study architecture and landscape doesn't pigeonhole students to one field but broadens their career aspects within the design discipline.

4/5 Speakers speak for 5 minutes each on their own education experience and transition to their current career path.

The current speakers that have agreed to present are Steve Grant (a graphic and industrial designer), Catherine Lightfoot (from the careers hub), Tim Davies (landscape Architect) and Philip Stejskal (Architect).

Rest of the session will be prompted Question and Answer, allowing students to ask their own questions. With the event being hosted by Grace Webster and Holly Carter Turner, President and Vice President Education of the ALVA Student Society.
