UCAS Presents: Waroona Dam Expedition

G’day everyone,

Have you had an itch for 4wding that you seem never to be able to scratch? Well grab your keys, snatch straps and a set of Maxtraxs, its time for UCAS to help itch that scratch as we present our Waroona 4wd Day Expedition.

We will be meeting at the UWA Business School car park at 8am for a 8:20am departure or alternatively you can meet us at the Waroona damn car park (accessible by all cars) at 10am.

There are a range of different track difficulties throughout the dam so it’s a good chance to learn what your 4wd can really do. Some of these tracks can be a bit hairy (although all the tracks have a "chicken track" should you wish) so make sure you come prepared with some recovery gear (the club will provide some gear!) and clothes that are not afraid to get a bit muddy.

As we'll be at the dam all day make sure you bring the following:

- Water

- Lunch & snacks

- Sunscreen

- Protective clothing such as a hat and long sleeved shirt.

- A towel if you're planning on going for a dip!

For new students looking to join:

Membership costs $5 with a Guild sticker ($7 for non-Guild members)

‘UCAS’ decals are available in 10cm and 15cm sizes, $5 each

‘UCAS’ membership tags are $7 each

‘UCAS’ T-shirts are $35 each

Rules:

Dangerous behaviour at any event will result in an immediate ban from the club and details may even be submitted to the police.

No hooning, excessive noise, burnouts, or tire chirps.

Please always keep ADEQUATE stopping distance and drive appropriately for road conditions.

We do not encourage speeding. All UCAS events are run within road speed limits.

All drivers must carry a valid driver’s license when in control of a motor vehicle.
