The Guild offers grants to eligible students experience severe financial difficulty.

Loans

Students can also apply for Guild Ordinary or Emergency loans to help you through a tight spot, completely interest-free.

The Guild’s Food Pantry provides FREE non-perishable essential food and everyday items (like long-life, dried and canned goods, hygiene and sanitary products) to help you make ends meet.

It operates on a no-questions-asked, confidential basis from the Student Assist offices on weekdays.

Loans for fees

Eligible students can utilise government loan schemes to defer the payment of their fees. HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP are loan schemes to assist with tuition fees. Loan schemes are also available to help with paying SSAF and overseas.

SSAF
The Guild and other university services that improve the student experience are funded by the Student Services and Amenities Fee, paid each semester.
