AmnesTEA Party

To celebrate International Women's Day, Amnesty International UWA will be hosting a Tea party on the 8th of March. The event will be a collaboration with the WA Amnesty women's group, and the theme will be women in leadership. The event will provide a morning breakfast for all the attendees, and will also have guest speakers from different fields and diverse backgrounds. The attendees will have the opportunity to hear the stories and struggles of the guest speakers, and then it will be followed by a Q&A session, where everybody will have the opportunity to ask them some questions. There will be also some interactive activities, and the event will finish with a small performance from an all-women acapella group. Overall, this event will be a good chance for people to get together, and learn and discuss what it is like to be a woman in leadership. It will serve as a celebration of how far we have come, but also a reminder that there is still more to do.
