O-Day

UWA IET on Campus O-day is an interactive event where university clubs are given an opportunity to showcase what their clubs' nature and what they can offer to incoming students of the new semester. Last year, our club didn’t participate on O-day but for this semester, our club decided to participate with an aim to introduce IET on Campus to incoming engineering students of various disciplines. We plan on holding a small game system which will peak people’s interest in checking out the club and we’ll use IET merch as a prize, acting as an incentive of the game and to market the club’s name at the same time. We would also provide refreshments to beat the heat during the day. This is a good opportunity to market the upcoming events of the club in the duration of the semester, potentially increasing the engagement on each event and promote the committee recruitment to increase the size of our committee in the future.
