In light of the recent Religious Freedom Discrimination Bill, our next lecture will explore the contemporary issue of religious freedom within the sphere of international law.


In particular, the lecture will discuss Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its wider applications in international law since 1948. Landmark cases will be explored as well as possible applications to Australian law.
