Nomination: What to do to be considered for the PSA Committee

Being a member of the PSA Committee is a great opportunity to develop event management, time management, interpersonal and other generic skills. To nominate yourself for election, you need to download and complete the nomination form. You may include a statement of up to 500 words on why you wish to be considered for that position, along with a current portrait photo, and/or a poster no larger than a A4 size for your candidacy to be posted on the website.

Please send completed nomination form to [email protected] by 3:00pm Friday 5 November 2021 (Nominations Closing Deadline).

You must also get two other members of the Association to second your nomination (any UWA postgraduate student who are not themselves nominating for the same position) – this simply means that they support your nomination and believe you are suitably qualified, experienced, networked and/or motivated for the position for which you are nominating.

For a complete list and position descriptions, please carefully check the PSA Elections Rules and PSA Rules. The elected committee member will hold their position until the 30th November 2022.
