The Lyn Beazley Institute is a UWA initiative that aims to support students, particularly undergraduates, to be involved in all aspects of research at UWA. Through collaboration with our academics, researchers and industry partners, we facilitate opportunities for students to be involved in research, from one-off volunteering to long-term placements.
We will provide a platform for students to develop their research communication skills and to showcase their research to the wider community. Through workshops and events, we will enable students to explore how research fits in a global context, such as through education, commercialisation and informing policy and decision making.
The Institute will always strive to ensure that research opportunities are accessible to all and seek to make sure our activities are equitable and inclusive.
